MISSION PRIORITY : UKRAINE CHILDREN $25.00 >
I don't know how many children/teens in foster care have NEVER had a birthday party, but at Kind Hearts for Kids, we’d like to make sure this doesn't continue to happen. One of our goals, whether it's once a year, twice a year, or more, is to throw parties for pre-teens and teens. These "big kids" are so deserving of some time to just laugh, play games (musical chairs, pin the tail on the donkey, all the childhood faves!) and be celebrated!
Mission: We offer kindness and compassion to children and teenagers in Foster & Grandparent care, inspiring them to have courage and dreams for their future.
A room of one’s own should be a sanctuary, especially for children. It’s a place where they can play, sleep and dream, but not every home situation is ideal. Some of the issues they have are lack of proper bedding, storage for organization, lighting for reading and safety. The children we serve on Cape Cod are ages 2-18. Many of the children we help are coping with trauma, medical and financial issues, some children have disabilities. Our mission is to create room makeover for these children so that they have a space where they can cope, heal, and recover. Often our room makeovers bring these children joy. There are many ways to help Colorful Kidz succeed in these room creations, one way is to volunteer. The second way is to support us financially.
